What an amazing turnout at our first ever MacRory Training Fund Night!
We packed out the Flagstaff Lodge and Mr McMahon entertained the crowd with quiz questions and games. Cait Carragher was possibly the star of the night – beating a stunned Jarly Og Burns in one of the quick thinking mind games. It would seem that she trumps his hand-eye coordination and quick thinking!
D.R.A. Tonight emerged as the victorious team and graciously gave back their cash prize. Funds raised on the night were £1875 and e125!
Thanks to our friends at the Flagstaff Lodge Newry, especially Regina and Niall. Further thanks to our very generous raffle donors. It generated a lot of money on the night.
Thanks to all who attended – pupils, staff, parents, family members, clubs and local political representatives. It was much appreciated!
Such was the success, we hope to make this an annual event.
