St Paul’s student selected for international netball squad

Year 11 student Kerry Davidson was selected on Saturday 14th May for the Initial U 17 N.I. Netball Squad. The trials, which were held in the Valley Leisure Centre Newtownabbey and were attended by over a hundred girls from all over Northern Ireland. The squad will commence their training in September 2011.

Kerry is the first girl from St Paul’s High School to be selected for an international netball squad.

St Paul’s High School is a thriving, innovative educational community of almost 1500 students of all abilities, from children with learning difficulties in our Learning Support Centre to high calibre academic achievers in our AS, A2 and Applied Post-16 courses. St Paul’s High School was designated by the Department of Education as a Specialist College for Science in 2008, and the school was awarded the BECTA ICT Mark in 2009.
