Recognition at St Paul’s for All-Ireland Heroes!

 

All Ireland Minor Ladies champions Amy Hughes, Caoimhe Hughes, Shannon O’Grady and Aoife McCullough, with their coaches Mr James Daly, and son Ryan Daly, being congratulated by Vice-Principal of St Paul’s High School, Mr Jarlath Burns, and Head of PE & Sport, Mr John Rafferty, on their recent success over Wicklow in the All Ireland final.

Students returning to St Paul’s High School, Bessbrook this term, were joined by a number of recent All-Ireland medal winners. 

Year 14 students Amy Hughes, Caoimhe Hughes, Shannon O’Grady and recent past pupil Aoife McCullough all featured on the Armagh Ladies team who beat Wicklow in this year’s Ladies’ All Ireland Football Final.

The girls were coached by Dromintee clubman and past pupil of St Paul’s, Mr James Daly, whose son Ryan is currently in Year 9 at St Paul’s, and who assisted his dad with coaching.

Vice-Principal at St Paul’s Mr Jarlath Burns congratulated the girls on their terrific achievement, adding that all the staff and students of St Paul’s were immensely proud of the girls.
