Saint Paul’s High School, Bessbrook, is celebrating the outstanding achievement of Year 14 student Niamh Cunningham, who has recently been selected for the prestigious Netball Northern Ireland Under 19 Long Academy squad.
Niamh’s selection is a testament to her dedication, talent and commitment to netball. Over many years, she has demonstrated exceptional skill, determination and a strong work ethic both on and off the court, earning recognition as one of the region’s most promising young netball players.
The Netball Northern Ireland Under 19 National Long Academy brings together talented athletes from across the country, providing them with high-level coaching and development opportunities as they progress within the sport. Being selected for the programme is a significant achievement and reflects Niamh’s hard work and potential.
Everyone at Saint Paul’s High School is incredibly proud of Niamh’s success. Balancing the demands of her studies alongside her sporting commitments, she has consistently shown resilience, dedication and a positive attitude, serving as an excellent role model for younger students.
