St Paul’s Year 8 Home Economics students were one of ten schools in Northern Ireland who recently completed the STEM programme where Schools, the Food and Drink Industry and Science came together to carry out Science activities and to undertake a class based project focusing on food packaging.
Year 8 pupils completed against twenty two other schools from all over Northern Ireland at the Salters’ Chemistry Festival at Queen’s University Belfast. Pupils Emma Travers, Natasha Mc Clory, Niamh O’Hagan and Aisling Murphy had to carry out two experiments. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed the experience
