On Wednesday 16 September, Principal Mr Jarlath Burns welcomed a large crowd of parents, friends and pupils to this year’s GCSE Prizegiving. Mr Burns introduced the platform party and welcomed Chairperson of the Governors, Mrs Eileen Fearon along with guest speaker and past pupil of St Paul’s, Mr Ryan Cinnamond.
Mr Burns paid tribute to how well this year group worked, studied and engaged in independent learning during their time at St Paul’s. He reflected on the fact that this was the best ever year for GCSE results, and that their achievements had been expected as the students who completed GCSE exams this year set high standards for themselves the moment they came to St Paul’s.
He congratulated all who were involved in their success, teachers, classroom assistants and their parents who are such a support to St Paul’s.
