Recently, 42 students from Year 13 have been selected to travel to Romania or Kenya in January 2016 for this year’s International Projects.
The students have been issued with a massive fundraising task and will be out on the streets collecting money, running the roads, cooking, baking, dancing and all sorts of fun activities that will raise much needed funds.
All of our students pay their own fare to all of the money collected goes to the International fund. We buy most of the supplies needed for the institutions and communities we support in their country to support their economy and this also reduces the weight we have to carry at the airport.
If you see any students out fundraising, please be as generous as you can. There will be an event in a church, school, hall, house or town near you very soon.
Travelling to the Parish of Londiani in Western Kenya are students Aine Malone, Aiobheann Savage, Orla Nutley, Cathal Murphy, Peter Quinn and Ryan Daly, who will be accompanied by Chaplain, Father Dermot Maloney, Principal, Mr Jarlath Burns, and teacher, Mrs Bridget McConville.
