On Sunday 27 April Rachael Sands and Cloideach Rafferty (a loyal friend), the daredevils, abseiled down the Europa Hotel Belfast for Northern Ireland Cancer fund for Children.
The two friends raised over £700 for the charity that day.
Rachael has managed to battle cancer twice already in her young life and truly is an inspiration to us all.
Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children has recognised this, and indeed her natural beauty ,by making her their pin up girl for their new Gimme 5 campaign for people to have the opportunity to donate £5 a month to help a child with cancer.
Rachael’s picture is now proudly displayed all over Northern Ireland on billboards and bus shelters and shortly will also be on Belfast buses.
Well done Rachael we are all so proud of you and wish you every success with your GCSE exams.
