St Paul’s High School has won the Department of Education Derrytrasna Pastoral Care Award 2016 (Post Primary).
The public were invited to nominate a school which they feel has demonstrated ‘exceptional’ pastoral care provision in supporting the emotional health and wellbeing of pupils and their families. These nominations were then moderated by a judging panel from the Department of Education.
The presentation ceremony was held at Stormont on Tuesday 21 June and Principal, Mr Jarlath Burns, Head of SEN, Mrs Mary Mc Mahon, past pupil Ryan Cinnamond and some of our Student Leadership Team were there to collect the award.
The entire staff at St Paul’s is delighted to receive this award as everyone is involved in the provision of pastoral care towards the pupils.
