Currently many students leave school without having been offered the opportunity to learn any emergency life support skills that could save someone’s life. All too often we have heard the comment ‘if only I had known what to do’.
Together with the British Heart Foundation the staff in St. Paul’s welcome, promote and encourage students’ continual personal development through emergency life support programmes. For the students in the CACHE programme these life saving skills include essential or desirable work related skills which are seen by the teaching staff and potential employers as important and in parallel with their academic achievements.
