Special whole-school assemblies were held on Tuesday morning in St Paul’s High School to welcome back the Mac Larnon Cup team who won the Ulster Championship in Armagh the previous day.
The team was cheered on to the stage by the whole school who had assembled in two groups in the Assembly Hall, and Master of Ceremonies, Vice-principal, Mr Jarlath Burns, welcomed Principal, Mr Oliver Mooney, Team Coaches, Mr John Rafferty and Mr Martin O’Rourke, Team Captain, Michael Murphy and Man of the Match, Ciaron O’Hanlon.
The victorious team got a huge reception from the St Paul’s students. We captured a little of the atmosphere in our special video below and scroll down to see some photos from the special day at St Paul’s.
