On Tuesday 25 June, St Paul’s celebrated a very successful year in Gaelic Sports with a presentation night in the Carrickdale Hotel.

Guest speakers on the night were Ulster Colleges Secretary Mr Seamus Woods, Ex Armagh Captain Mr Paul McGrane and Treasurer of Ulster Colleges Mr Sean McGourty.

Ulster Colleges Secretary Seamus Woods, praised the ‘passion and the vitality’ of the St Paul’s teams and also went on to say that St Paul’s has made an enormous impact and an invaluable contribution to Ulster Colleges competitions.

Treasurer of Ulster Colleges Mr Sean McGourty congratulated St Paul’s and reveals the biggest ever attendance at MacRory Final this year.

Paul McGrane payed tribute to the inspirational leadership of John Rafferty and spoke of being beaten by one point in a MacRory Cup Final back in 1991. He also went on to say that 3 members of that team went on to win All-Ireland medals.
