Young Enterprise Big Market 2025 – Another Fantastic Success!

Our pupils once again did us proud at this year’s Young Enterprise Big Market Event in St George’s Market, Belfast!

Year 9/03, guided by Mrs Treanor and Mrs Quinn, showcased their Quick Start business “Wooden Wonders”, selling beautifully crafted bespoke Christmas tree decorations.

Our Year 13 Company Programme Enrichment group, led by Mr McKinley, impressed customers with their enterprise “Made To Hold”, offering stunning hand-crafted Christmas wreaths.

Both groups had an incredibly successful day, engaging confidently with customers, demonstrating excellent sales techniques, and representing our school with maturity and enthusiasm. Their hard work in the lead-up to the event paid off, and we are extremely proud of how professionally they conducted themselves throughout the day.

A huge thank you to the staff who helped prepare our pupils for the event: Orla Treanor, Sinead Quinn, Lorraine Hoey, and Cliodhna Meehan. Their support and guidance were invaluable.

And we’re not stopping there!

Our pupils have already set their sights on their next sales opportunity. They will be selling their products in the main foyer of the Bank of Ireland next Wednesday, 17th December from 10am–12 noon. They will be joined by our very own Inclusion Choir, who will fill the foyer with festive Christmas carols.

We warmly invite friends, families and the community to pop in, browse the wonderful products, and enjoy the beautiful voices of our choir.

Looking ahead, our pupils will also be taking part in the Young Enterprise Trade Fair at Rushmere Shopping Centre, Craigavon, next February, where they will showcase a fresh range of Spring/Easter decorations.
