Paul Burns Zumba instructor along with members of staff from St Paul’s 

Paul Burns from Academy Dance in Newry comes into St. Paul’s on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons to teach Zumba to the staff of St. Paul’s.  Paul has just recently returned from the USA with a World Championship title under his belt. He won the Male, Open, Novice title in ‘The United Country and Western Dance World Championships’.  His team from Academy Dance also won their championship and he was awarded second place in the Pro-Am couples competition. This is a particularly amazing achievement considering Paul only began training in Pro-Am in September.

Karina Traynor, a regular attender at Paul’s classes, said  “It is a pleasure to have Paul as our Zumba instructor. We spend one hour, dancing hard and laughing hard. It is a very enjoyable, stress busting experience”.
