JAMES BABE RIP
11 October 2001 – 9 August 2014
The sudden death of our esteemed Year 8 pupil James Babe has shocked and saddened us all.
James was only at St Paul’s for one year, but during that short time he brightened our lives with his infectious personality and his love of music.
As we gathered to say goodbye to James recently, students, staff and the wider family of St Paul’s expressed their memories, thoughts and feelings about James. One thing they all had in common is how much we’ve been touched, and blessed by James’ friendship and enthusiasm.

RIP James, unfortunately I never got the pleasure of meeting James, but all I have heard about him has been nothing but positive. I know that I’m not alone when I say that his funeral service was extremely touching. He was and certainly still is truly loved by many. Our guard of honour and our choir truly showed that not only does St Paul’s have a communal spirit but we have a familial spirit also.
Thank you James for sharing your love for music within St. Paul’s. You will be forever in our prayers. Rest in peace James

Deeply, deeply saddened to learn of James’ passing. He was a great young lad.

Very sad to hear of James’ death. Never had the pleasure of meeting James but everyone I spoke to said that he was a great young fella. May God comfort and console his family and friends at this sad time.

RIP James! I had the pleasure of knowing James! He was a lovely boy and always made people laugh! My thoughts are with James’ family at this time!!
