2026 is the National Year of Reading across the UK and will be launched on 15^th January.  As a Reading School, we are “Going All In, to make it memorable and fun for all involved.

There will be many events planned throughout the year to celebrate reading and improve literacy, but also to instil in our students and staff the benefit of reading for pleasure.

Our first major event will be a full day visit from Joffre White, the UK Patron of Reading, who will deliver his acclaimed, interactive, motivational and inspiring workshops to classes in Year 8&9 in February.
