Huge congratulations to our Year 9 boys, who secured an impressive 4–1 victory over Lismore College to book their place in the Mid Ulster Cup Final! 🔥
With the match moved to Tandragee Recreation Centre due to weather, the team adapted brilliantly and set the tone from the start.
✨ Goals & Key Moments: • A clever run and composed finish from Eoin Bradley, after a perfect through ball from Conor Collins, opened the scoring.
• Lismore levelled before the break with a well‑taken header.
• In the second half, Donnacha Trainor produced a stunning “worldie” into the top corner and later added another crucial goal in a standout, player‑of‑the‑match performance.
• Anthony McGeough continued his excellent form, holding off defenders before coolly slotting home our fourth—assisted superbly by Bradley.
💪 A True Team Performance: • James Hollywood showed real composure in goal.
• A solid defensive line from Ryan Morgan, James Fearon, Dylan McCoy, and Ruben McNulty kept chances to a minimum.
• Midfield leaders Matty McCorry (Captain) and Mark McKevitt controlled the game with determination and vision.
• Impact substitutes Elijus Andriuska and Theo Malanga brought energy and threat, both unlucky not to score.
The boys now await their opponents for the Mid Ulster Cup Final, with focus quickly turning to next Tuesday’s South Down League semi‑final vs Dromore High School.
🙌 A massive thank you to our sponsors, Fiships, for their continued generous support.
