St Paul’s Golf Classic Drives Success for International Projects!

On Saturday, 28 September, the picturesque Cloverhill Golf Club in Mullaghbawn, County Armagh, was the setting for the much-anticipated St Paul’s Golf Classic. Organised by the dedicated pupils and staff of St Paul’s High School, the event was in support of the school’s longstanding International Projects, with a particular focus on their upcoming trip to Kenya in November 2024.

The day was a tremendous success, thanks to the overwhelming support from local businesses and the community, who came together to sponsor and participate in the event. From friendly competition on the green to generous donations, the Golf Classic truly highlighted the spirit of collaboration that defines St Paul’s International Projects.

Participants enjoyed a day of golf under clear skies, followed by an awards ceremony celebrating both top performers and those who came out simply to support this fantastic cause. The funds raised will go a long way in supporting the vital charitable work our pupils will undertake in Kenya, including educational and community-building initiatives.

The winning teams of the St Paul’s International Projects Golf Classic 2024 were: (1st) John Kelly and team, (2nd) Damien Rock and team, and (3rd) Joe McElroy and team.  Congratulations also to Napier Boyle who won a smart TV for competing in the competitive Vegas Hole.

A heartfelt thank you goes to everyone who took part, donated, or supported the event in any way. Your contributions ensure that our International Projects continue to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.
