Students from St Paul’s High School, Bessbrook are once more trying to raise a million pennies for the school’s International Projects in Kenya, Romania, Bethlehem and Lourdes.

A million pennies, which equates to £10,000 is the cornerstone of the school’s fundraising efforts this term, and students in Year 13 will lead the charity effort through bucket appeals, raffles, quizzes, concerts and much much more.

Chaplain at St Paul’s High School, Bessbrook, Father Dermot Maloney, wished the fundraisers well in their efforts this year, and looked forward to working closely with the students as they try to reach their targets, in this the eleventh year of the successful appeal.
