At St Paul’s High School, we are a Catholic community which is part of a worldwide dynamic reality with the power to positively change lives, create futures, and enrich the lives of everyone in the school’s wider community and society.
Our school, established in 1966, is founded on the ministry and message of Christ.
We put the person at the centre of the education journey. We nurture development and we celebrate the unique talents of each individual.
We are committed to providing a quality education for all and inclusion is an integral part of our Christian message. St Paul’s is an inclusive centre of learning where we listen, encourage constructive dialogue and support the development of mutual understanding of all faiths, cultures and backgrounds.
Truth, compassion, integrity and kindness are the guiding principles that shape our relationships with each other and provide a code for our conduct within school and when with our families and community.
In St Paul’s, we recognise that upholding and protecting the dignity, self-esteem and self-worth of the individual is what provides a learning and teaching environment that enables human potential to flourish.
We fully embrace Shared Education and recognise the educational and social benefits to our learners, the promotion of equality of opportunity, good relations, equality of identity, respect for diversity and community cohesion which sharing can provide. Our outreach programmes at home and abroad are well established and reflect a school community that is compassionate in pursuit of the common good and care for the marginalised; and the welfare of all in the school community and beyond.
We encourage openness to dialogue with our learners which influences and shapes the school community. In so doing, we create confident, capable, critical thinkers who are ready to contribute to and shape their world.
OUR VISION – our destination
St Paul’s will be a Catholic, person-centred school recognised for quality education for all, where every pupil’s dignity and unique gifts flourish.
Our pupils will leave as confident, capable, critical thinkers who live truth, compassion, integrity and kindness.
We will be a leading partner in Shared Education and community outreach, shaping a kinder, fairer society.
